Introduction
Pub Kamrup College, established in 1972 is a premier institution of the North East Kamrup (Assam). From the very inception the College Office has been maintained in a systematic way through a good number of office staff including grade III and grade IV employees. Initially it was an Arts College. In 1986 science stream was introduced. The College has both H.S. and TDC Course. Thus the academic administration is running as per guidelines of both A.H.S.E.C. and G.U.

Objectives
To maintain the functions of the College office in a systematic way by filing every sphere of its work for smooth running of the institution.

Present Strength of the Office Staff
At present the college has nine grade- III and seventeen grade IV employees that includes twelve departmental bearers and four office bearers. However the post of a bearer in the Department of Botany is lying vacant after the death of Girish Das, a bearer of the Botany department since 02-09-2003.

Function
Generally at the beginning of each session the Principal of the college distribute the duties and responsibilities of each employees of grade-III and grade IV and circulate the same. The Head Assistant of the college supervises the duties of each and every employee. He reports any negligence of duties to the Principal for necessary action.
